Tampa Bay on the Cheap:

History

The Tampa Bay Area has hundreds of fun, educational and cheap activities for residents and visitors alike. We add items ourselves but please suggest others. Visit our Contact page to do that.

Tampa Bay history dates back to the Calusa and Timucuan indians, even before the Spanish arrival in the early 1500s. The Spanish established dominion over Florida for 236 years. (Indeed, it will not be until the year 2057 that Florida will have been an American territory for as long as it had been Spanish.)
